Yikes! Time has flown by and spring break is now over. Actually, the first full week of school after spring break (usually the WORST) is over, and thankfully, it wasn't so bad
(because my students ROCK)!
So, remember those canisters and chalkboard I last sent off to buy/make? Well, I only purchased 1 canister (ya know, to ease the hubby into the spending that is about to occur) and the chalkboard did NOT make it up in time for Easter (insert tears here). I am was working on it and my body decided to throw a little cold/bronchitis my way. Perhaps once kindergarten report cards are finished I will pull it back out of hiding and complete the project.
Here is a little snap shot of the canister though:
I decided to get the medium sized one. To fill with my new tea(bags) obsession.
I want to move to London, get over it.
Well, lucky for me I was able to indulge in my obsession the very next day as my voice decided to leave and I had a very scratchy throat. So, here is what my view was for the next oh, SEVEN days looked like:
Mug , my favorite mug.
A friend gave it to me for Christmas a few years back and they were a hot item at Christmas again this year, so I snagged one for nearly everyone I know (that would enjoy a nice mug, of course!).
Easter was really pretty awesome. It was our first holiday hosting as a married couple and living in a different state than the rest of our family. My in-laws came, and while I feel I was a little rusty, it was so nice to have them here and be able to serve my mother-in-law instead of her slaving away on her (delicious) cooking.
I am really more into the setting up than the actual cooking and cleaning up though!
I will leave you a picture of our table (early Easter morning, before it was finished, but look at those tulips!!!):
